"Bulls Afloat: Saratoga Showdown 2025"

CA$430.00

"Bulls Afloat: Saratoga Showdown 2025"

From August 7–11, the Elk Valley Bulls—both men’s and women’s teams—set their sights on the Saratoga Cup in Salmon Arm, with one goal: win it all. Their secret weapon? A houseboat.

Led by the chaotic duo of Captain Vinny, and Captain Conesy, the Bulls rented the legendary S.S. Scrum Down, a floating base of operations equipped with a hot tub, BBQ, and zero rules.

“Rugby by day, boat party by night,” declared Captain Conesy, moments before backing the houseboat into a dock. Twice.

The women’s team dominated the pitch, racking up tries and terrifying opponents with synchronized war cries and glitter. The men’s team, inspired (and mildly concussed), clawed their way to the finals with scrappy rucks and blind optimism.

After four days of rugby, sunburns, and one questionable tattoo (thanks, Conesy), the Bulls won both divisions, making history and mildly upsetting the marina staff.

Just remember:
Spots on the boat are limited.
Bring your own bedding.
And don’t let Peat near the steering wheel.

We have rented 2 houseboats, there are a maximum of 34 berths. Partners Welcome, First Come First Served.

Price includes houseboat cost, Provincial Park Marine Pass, Environmental Fee, GST, PST & an estimate for fuel & propane. Final amount for those two items will depend on how far we venture & use.
